A family property for over 150 years, the Château Haut Prieur consists of 10 hectares of vines in Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux, exposed directly to the South. Dominating the Gironde estuary, Malbec comes marvellously into its own in this limestone terroir, which gives it a deep colour and spicy aromas. Merlot gives this wine roundness, velvet and delicacy. Full of harmony, modern and well-made, this vintage is a top deal lauded by the press.
